From February 1st, the current DCI Acquirer Service Fee of 15 bps (0,15%) on all Diners transactions will be updated.
From the stated effective date, fee levels will be differentiated based on region, with 12 bps (0,12%) applied on domestic/intraregional transactions, and 30 bps (0,3%) on interregional transactions.
This means that a transaction taking place in e.g. Sweden with a card issued in the United States will experience a cost increase of 15 bps (0,15%), while a domestic transaction (or an intra-European Economic Area transaction) will see a cost reduction of 3 bps (0,03%). Merchants on Blended price models accepting Diners are not affected by this change.
