As of February 1st 2021, Diners Club International (DCI) increases the scheme fee for interregional transactions from 30 bps to 45 bps in the EEA merchant countries. This is the second phase of the change initiated in February 2020 when the DCI scheme fees were adjusted. In contrast to the change last year, now only interregional transactions are updated, domestic and intraregional transactions remain unchanged.
As for Bambora’s customers, IC++ merchants will see the update as part of their reported scheme fees automatically. Merchants on a Blended price model will be informed in case impacts require adjusted pricing.
