ISVs already know the importance of putting themselves in the merchant’s shoes. It’s clearly impossible to develop the right POS software without delving deep into the merchant’s challenges, needs and thought processes.

The same applies when payments are integrated to a POS solution. It has to be right, or the merchant may simply walk away.

While it sounds simple – “just integrate payments” – the merchant actually demands far more, from easy to follow pricing plans and quick payouts to timely reporting, speed of delivery and reliable support. It’s every bit as complex as developing a retail POS system that fits the bill.

So, when Bambora set out to design Bambora Connect, we spent plenty of time listening to merchants and getting under their skin. We came without preconceptions, and left with greater clarity on what was needed: a fairer, lower cost way to take payments and a complete infrastructure of software and hardware that fits together without issues, and which merchants can access on demand.

Put the two together – intelligent POS, plus tried and tested payments – and a solution can be created that’s really on their wavelength; which makes it easier for ISVs to attract merchants and increase revenues.
